Safety Project Manager

SGF Global, International Recruitment agency, is looking for an Safety Project Manager to work in Big Stone City, SD.

DESCRIPTION:
Position is responsible to provide safety consulting services to clients.
Responsible to recognize, monitor and make recommendations to ensure that workplace safety hazards are corrected through on-site audits, consulting, ergonomic assessments and interventions according to OSHA and other regulatory agencies; collaborate on safety policy development and training.
Supports the evaluations of contractors during the bid process and works in close partnership with the project team to ensure safe, qualified contractors are utilized.
Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures.
Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
Provides day-to-day direction to project resources and ensures the project teams are provided the resources and support that enable the teams to reach their defined objectives.
Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
Responsible for preparation of documentation and status reports.

REQUIREMENTS:
Min. 5 years of experience.
Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills.
Expert knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and Visio.
CSP-ASP (Certified Safety Professional) Preferred
CDL or other classes above the norm.
knowledge and experience in electrical transmission line construction operations.
Must possess technical competency in construction and industrial safety (i.e. Rigging, Lifting, Transmission line work, Aerial Stringing, Excavation, Shoring, Confined Space, LOTO, Arc Flash and Other project specific related items)

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
